Itchenor, a beautiful village at the heart of Chichester Harbour National Landscape, provides the perfect departure point for our Harbour Discovery tours. From here, experience the beauty, wildlife and history of Chichester Harbour aboard our eco-friendly solar-powered boat, Solar Heritage. Glide peacefully through the waters and soak in the sights: beautiful harbourside villages, sailboats galore, far-reaching views and wonderful wildlife. Trips last around an hour and a half and offer a memorable way to explore the harbour and discover the unique coastal habitats it has to offer. Our knowledgeable crew provide commentary whilst you travel and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Itchenor is a renowned sailing destination, situated on the eastern shoreline of Chichester Harbour just seven miles south of Chichester. Admire the views across the water to Bosham and the South Downs beyond from the departure point then hop aboard to experience unrivalled views of the harbour from the water.
Solar Heritage has a large, stable deck and freedom to move around once the trip is underway. She is open-sided with superb panoramic harbour views – there are binoculars available to borrow on board but don’t forget to bring your camera to capture those special memories!
