With trips running throughout the year, every season offers something different to discover. Explore the Harbour on a discovery tour, get closer to its wildlife on a seal safari, or enjoy a nature and birdwatching trip. Look out for special sailings, from atmospheric sunset cruises and live music trips to expert talks and themed family adventures.
Dogs are welcome on our Harbour Discovery cruises, and Solar Heritage is also available for private hire.
Designed so that everyone can enjoy being out on the water, Solar Heritage is fully accessible, with a wheelchair lift, large stable deck and open sides. There’s plenty of space to move around, take in the fresh air and enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views across the Harbour.

Chichester Harbour, based on the south coast, is one of 38 of the UK’s National Landscapes (previously known as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty). An important wildlife site, the harbour is enjoyed by water-users, walkers and cyclists. As a stunning natural environment it offers breathtaking landscapes, beautiful harbour villages and a number of unique and internationally-significant habitats for birds, seals and other wildlife.
Our solar-powered boat is virtually silent, minimising disturbance to marine life and maximising your enjoyment of the peace and beauty of Chichester Harbour.
We are an accredited wildlife safe operator. Photographs of seals and birds used on this site are taken at distance using a zoom lens to avoid disturbance.
