Departure points for boat trips in Chichester Harbour
Our boat trips depart from two main locations: Itchenor and Emsworth. Please carefully check the location when booking. Check your ticket confirmation once you have booked for information about your departure location and meeting point.
Itchenor Departures:
Meeting Point: Raised viewing platform with benches in front of the Harbour Office (Itchenor Hard, PO20 7AW)

Parking: Available in Itchenor public car park off the Street which is pay on exit via card/contactless. This is a couple of minutes walk to the meeting point. Blue badge holders can park in the Street for up to three hours and need to display both the blue badge and clock with start time.
There are public toilets adjacent to the meeting point, including a disabled access toilet.
Public Transport
There is no longer a bus service serving Itchenor directly and public transport options are limited. The 52/53 West Wittering bus from Chichester has a stop on the B2179 main road at the top of the Itchenor Road. Or access Bosham via the 700 bus / National Rail train services from Portsmouth/Chichester and proceed to Smugglers Lane where you can catch the passenger ferry across the water to Itchenor. Please check Itchenor ferry website for operating times. Both options involve a substantial walk so cycling or travelling by taxi may be preferred.
Emsworth Departures:
Meeting Point: Emsworth Promenade (the raised walkway going round the water at the bottom of South Street). The meeting point is half way round, at the gate at the top of the jetty.

Parking: Nearest parking is available in South Street Car Park (PO10 7EG).
From here it is approx. 350m (4 minute walk) to the meeting point. You will need parking for a minimum of 2 hours to allow for boarding time, the 1 hour trip and returning to your car. There is an alternative car park in North Street and a free car park in Bridge Road.
Public transport: There is a railway station in North Street (about 10 minutes walk to the meeting point).
Public bus services: 600, 700 and 11 all stop in Emsworth.
