As the seasons turn, tens of thousands of wading birds and waterfowl flock to Chichester Harbour to spend the winter months.
In February and October half term, we run a series of Birds Ahoy birdwatching trips which have been designed for families:
These special, reduced cost trips are a family-friendly introduction to bird-watching allowing a unique opportunity to spot our wonderful birds from the water.
A local bird/nature expert will be on board all to point out species, tell you more about them and answer all your questions. Information and activities will be provided.
- Adult and child binoculars aboard – but bring your own if you have them!
- Appropriate for children of all ages.
- One hour long – please wrap up warm due to the time of year.
- Bring your own refreshments.
